Have you ever experienced the frustration of seeing something you've worked so hard for crumble before your very eyes with one small, fatal misstep?
What did you do about it? Did you get back on track? Can you get back on track? Is there a point of no return--for better or for worse? Did you despair of ever reaching your goal?
Or did you say to yourself, "All right. I messed up, but that doesn't mean that all that work was for nothing. Tomorrow is a new day; next week is a new week; next month is a new month. Just because I took a step back...or two...or however many...doesn't mean that all is lost. Vaiter, onward and upward!"
How do you decide how to react? Is it a conscious decision, or do you react on autopilot? Or does your conscious reaction temper your automatic one?
As usual, I seem to have more questions than answers...
